Wainwright Instruments introduces UHF/Microwave Band Pass Filters that can be tuned by
computer with intuitively usable software or directly by simple LAN Telnet protocol.
The rejectband up to 3 x Fo (can be extended with an additional lowpass filter) makes
these filters especially suitable for suppressing harmonics
in laboratory applications and automated test stations in production lines.
The carrier frequency of a signal source is allowed to pass and the harmonics are suppressed.

Low Frequency Band Reject Filter (Helical Design)

Cavity Band Reject Filters with Helical Resonators
Frequency Range 50 to 500 MHz

These cavity filters are realized with λ/4 - line coupled
helical resonators.
Compared with conventional unloaded
cavity designs the size can be reduced by approx. 25%
(depending on frequency). Because the Q-factor is almost
the same as in common cavity designs, these filters have
relatively steep slopes and low insertion loss at the
passband corners. Various band widths and stop band
attenuation levels are available:

Band widths: between approx. 1% - 10% of Fo
Upper Passband limits: up to 2.5 to 3.0 x Fo.

The filters are screwdriver adjustable.
